The work places it’s base as an error, standing strongly against the lights and skyline of the city, which is a symbol of functioning, progress, and perfection - that is the promise of capitalism and corporate America. One of the most familiar symbols of error, the blue screen of death, as the background, animation transitions into a message: “The Video Cannot Play”
